Warplanes: WW1 Sky Aces Features and Description

1. The game will take you into the times when aviation was in its dawning of existence – the first Wright brothers machines went into the sky just 11 years before the Great War! 3. In Warplanes: WW1 Sky Aces you take control of over 30 historical airplanes – including the Fokker Dr.I, famous for its pilot Manfred von Richthofen a.k.a. “Red Baron”.

4. Others stemming from light fighters like the Airco DH.2 to an enormous 4-engine bomber like the Sikorsky Ilya Muromets – all planes can be customized and upgraded.

5. Two campaigns for Triple Entente and one for Central Powers will let you experience all major fronts of World War I – you’ll fly above most countries that participated in the conflict in various types of mission.

6. In Pilot Mode you can simply focus on air combat, collecting and upgrading planes.

    Solid Game

I have been searching for a solid WWI air combat game with a variety of missions, where you could do plenty of dog fighting, and blowing things up. This game seems to work nicely, offers a variety of options and scenarios, and there seems to be good animation here. The game also offers some affordable options for upgrades if you want to add more to the game. So far, it has also proven to be a stable environment with no buggy issues.

    good times

Nightowl39 basically said it all. The graqphics are really nice without taking up much CPU. Perfect for a few quick runs. For a geezer like me, the planes move at a more leasurely pace than WW2 games. There's no unecessary clutter or intrusive popups. Plenty of planes and options to choose from and upgrade through play, with the possiblity of buying more plans and missions. A multiplayer option might be fun.

    Ok, but controls very limited

I've used many flight siulators. This one is set up backwards. to go up you have to push forward on the track pad and drag back to go down. Also it times out the sleep function and you have to log back in, usually at a critical moment.

    Watch out

Very fun game, great concept, but all of your save data will be lost after you quit the first time. Maybe it doesn't happen for others, happened for me. I even bought the premium pack and everything. Maybe it's a glitch, bbut my advice is steer clear.
