Software Reviews and Criticism

Promising, but crashes and is slow

This looked great when it first opened my GoPro Hero 7 Black and started displaying thumbnails. But when I attempted to scroll down to look at more thumbnails, it kept crashing. I then tried just downloading some files - it worked, but was VERY s-l-o-w via 2.4GHz WiFi connection. At the rate it was going, it would have taken hours to download the ~3GB of files (video + JPG) that I had on the GoPro. So - if the developer can fix the crash (seems clearly to be a problem with reading the thumbnails) and do something about the speed (I realize with a direct USB connection it would be faster), then this would be a good tool. I would also suggest a list viewing mode with dates/times, to be able to select files for viewing/downloading without having to scroll thru thumbnails. As it is, it’s unfortunately pretty unusable for me. (I would like a refund.)

    Simple, but quick and effective.

Giving 4 stars just because I haven't had the time to fully test this app yet, but so far it appears to be working perfectly. Did exactly what I needed to do. It's not the best looking app I've used, but I've used FAR worse. The UI is clean and easy to use. I think dark grey would be easier on the eyes than the black window frames but that's a minor detail. Will update if anything comes up.
