Lungo Overview
What is Lungo? Lungo is a Mac app that prevents the computer from falling asleep and the screen from dimming. It is useful for various scenarios such as presentations, watching videos, cooking, reading, monitoring tasks, and more. The app features a menu bar icon for quick activation, preferences to customize settings, keyboard shortcuts, and support for scripts and terminal control. However, it cannot prevent the computer from sleeping when the lid is closed or when a scheduled sleep is enabled in the Battery system preferences. Users can provide feedback through the app or email the developer.
1. - Set the default duration in the Preferences, which is used when Lungo is activated by clicking the menu bar icon.
2. Lungo is also not able to prevent a scheduled sleep, enabled in the Battery system preferences.

5. - Choose to activate with left-click instead in the Preferences.

Minimal and solid
The little warm humidity animation makes my day everytime I click it. I use this taking notes in class and doing homework all the time. Always glad to support Sindre.
Display won’t sleep if lungo is active
I have set my displays to turn off after 10 minutes in Energy Saver. If I manually activate the screensaver and don’t deactivate Lungo then my displays never turn off. I’ve used Caffeine in the past and this was never an issue. I had reached out to Lungo Support over a month ago but never received a response.
Solid keep-awake app
Sindre has once again contributed a useful tool to the community. If you need something to do what this says it does - it does it well!
Does the same as Caffeine, but nicer :)
At the moment it looks to be on feature parity with Caffeine, but nice little touches such as retina icon and small animations make it look a bit nicer :)
