What is uBlock? The uBlock team has created a free ad and content blocker that removes unwanted ads, protects users from trackers, and speeds up page load times. The app blocks ads on popular websites like Facebook and YouTube, as well as auto-play video and audio ads and annoying pop-ups. It also provides privacy protection by blocking invisible tracking and allows users to configure their own rules to block specific trackers. The app blocks malware distributed through malicious ads and speeds up browsing by eliminating slow-loading ads and pop-ups. Users can choose to allow non-intrusive ads to support websites they like or selectively whitelist websites to allow ads on specific sites. The app is easy to install and the developers welcome feedback and ideas from users.

2. This simple, easy-to-use ad and content blocker will remove unwanted ads, protect you from trackers, and help speed your page load times.
3. It's easy to install and FREE to use.
Download and Install uBlock - PC
Intel, 64-bit processor, OS X 10.7 or later.
Yes. The app is 100 percent (100%) safe to download and Install. Our download links are from safe sources and are frequently virus scanned to protect you
Tricky to setup at first, but seems to work okay.
I used the previous ublock origin obtained through the extensions gallery and found that it worked well. I have read all the negative reviews for "new" ublock through the app store and was hesitant to download it. It's a little unintuitive to setup--you have to download it, go the Safari extensions settings to turn both the app and the icon on, and THEN open the app and update the filter lists to get it to work properly. This process should really be streamlined so it's ready to work from the get-go. It also installs a stand-alone app, which doesn't make me super happy, but I'm wondering if it's a OS X requirement.
Installs & Works Great
I read all the reviews saying the new uBlock does not install or work. Yes it does, you just need to follow the install instructions. For Safari 12 it is both a Safari Extension and a desktop application. Both must be properly installed and running. I've been using some ad heavy websites, they load much faster with no ads.
Subtracted one star - In PC Mojave if you are using Dark Mode the text on the buttons that appear when you click the uBlock icon on Safari title bar are not readable. The extension needs update to accommodate Dark Mode.
Mojave Dark Mode
The uBlock Safari extension menu items are not visible when running Mojave in dark mode. You can blindly click on the location of a menu item (such as pause) and the text will be lightly visible and the menu item will be selected.
Easy to use, and vital for safe, fast, unintrusive web-browsing
After Firefox's certificate fiasco, it is clear how vital Ublock and other adblockers are for internet usability and safety. I am glad Ublock supports multiple browsers, allowing me to switch to Safari and enjoy an unintrusive web browsing experience.
