  Simple and ‘Delivers’

  Like a growing number of people, I don't have a landline and have little use for a fax. I found myself in a situation requiring a fax and ended up trying the usual online faxing solutions .. to no avail. I did a quick online search, then a quick App Store search and found this little gem. It may not be loaded with fluff, but it does exactly what it suppose to, it painlessly delivers faxes without a phone number. There’s a small delay between completion and delivery (in my case 3-5 minutes). You get a little desktop notification upon delivery and can view your history in Window > Faxes. It was worth the $5 just to get past the hassle of the day, but certainly more than worth it to have a fax at my disposal indefinitely. I read a couple reviews mentioning trying to send multiple pages, just combine everything with your cover page into a single pdf and you’re good to go. No complaints at all, but a useful addition would be to automatically clear out the attachment and phone number after a successful send and maybe a detailed delivery report, in the event you needed to substantiate delivery for official reasons. … Regardless, great solution, thanks Matt!

  I Love SimpleFax.

  All I need is a few faxes sent on occasion. I suspect I’ll never hit the monthy max. I create a pdf, drop it in the window, put in my email address and the fax number it is going to , and it is sent. I get a notification when complete. This is all I want in a fax app. Plus, there is NO monthly fees. No per page fees. No per fax fees. 20 faxes a month, of up to 20 pages. One time up front fee of $5 bucks. COOL! They could make it an annual $5.00 bucks and it would be well worth it!. An fax app for the occasional user that is not a money drain, i appreciate that a lot.

  lack of support

  I emailed asking a question about whether the monthly fax count was on a calendar month basis or on a rolling monthy basis (i.e. purchase on the 10th, count runs starting each 10th of the month) and received no answer. I used it to send a fax, received a confirmation, but the recipient did not receive it. Tried to resend, no confirmation received. The lack of support is disappointing. It's easy to use, and if I could confirm it actually worked, I'd rate it higher based on the interface and no additional fees. I just wish there was some customer support

  I wish it listed the name of the .pdf you were sending

  I am doing a lot of conservatorship duties for my Mom. Amazingly, insurance companies only use FAX. I bought this, dragged the folder with the .pdf files inside, hit send. Thankfully the cover letter had my personal info and that is all they received. So,now I’ve split out the separate sheets and am sending one by one. Thing is…The app never displays what it is”Sending”. The picture up above that has the insert of the Simplifax page is how it looks after you’ve dragged something inside. It just displays a static .pdf icon. I wish 1) they would publish that the software only handles one page at a time 2) that it would display the pdf that you dragged in. Right now, I’m having to wait another 3 days just to see if they actually received some of what I sent.

  Extremely easy

  I was thinking I may have missed something because it was so easy. I like that it gives you the option to see that the message has been delivered, so you can confirm that it got where it needed to go. I also like that they don't track you or share any information anywhere. Faxes are more secure - the last thing you want it to use a more secure format and then have your info shared - almost defeats the purpose of using that option. Definitely glad I made the decision to purchase this app.
