What is Calm Radio? Calm Radio is a streaming service that offers over 400 HD audio channels of sleep music, meditation music, relaxation music, nature sounds, and ASMR. It also has the world's most channels of classical music, including Mozart, Bach, Symphonies, Sonatas, and Choirs. The app features guided sleep and meditation channels, binaural and solfeggio frequency channels, and nature sounds and white noise channels recommended for the treatment of Tinnitus. The app also includes scenic background nature videos, sleep timer, equalizer tone controls, favorites, track skip, and unlimited listening. Premium members can enjoy over 400 ad-free channels, while free basic membership listeners can access over 200 channels with ads. The app is available for a monthly or annual subscription, and payment is charged to the user's iTunes account on confirmation of purchase.     Good service - lousy App

    It's unthinkable to me when such a simple type of App has faults in it's functionality. While it does it's job as a streaming app in delivery of the content, it really bothers me that, as a selling point, a major feature doesn't work - which is the backgrounds. Essentially when I use the app, I am forced to accept a simple black screen as the app plays, even though I have chosen a back ground. I have looked up in the support section the issue and the applicable documents talk about buttons and options that don't exist. It's like the support document is referencing another app all together.. So their "stunning backgrounds" just don't work. I'm not sure why this bothers me so much- but it does - or maybe that I am paying twice as much as XM Radio and they can't even get a simple feature to work. Ugh - lazy programming..... poor work ethic...

    Versatile, Extensive, AND In a Class of Its Own!

    This has become my "Go-To" enviromental music app while working from home. HUGH variety of "background modification" music that is excellent for concentration, study, or just "coolin'" out. LOTS of options for mindfulness exercises such as yoga, tai chi, hanna somatics, etc. I have used iTunes for many years and I like it but it doesn't compare with Calm, not at all! In addition, I use Sirius XM and like it but it is not the same as Calm. Calm is "just much better" when I need music or sounds to encourage my brain to focus.

    Quality and variety

    The sound quality is great and there is a large variety of music to choose from. I’ve been looking for a player to replace iTunes but none (including this one) has the ability to airplay to multiple deivces, like my AppleTV’s, like iTunes does. I guess I’m stuck listing to iTunes internet radio in order to stream it through my house. Also if you don’t use their app they block you from iTunes internet radio. I guess it’s their way or no way, so it’s outta here.

    Love This App!

    This is one of my favorite music apps. The collection of soothing music to relax with is wonderful. From classic to modern and everything in between. I had a problem with my subscription because I forgot to renew it, and I need my ad-free Calm! I re-upped the wrong way, and it got very confusing. But the customer service was fantastic, and worked with my account to get back to my original subscription rate. Definitely thumbs up!

    Can’t Download URL To Stream In Itunes

    I am a loyal fan of CALM Radio since I bought a lifetime membership BUT I annoyed that you can no longer download the URL into the open streaming function in iTunes. I want to play calm radio through iTunes and not their app which crashes at times and is very clunky to use and specifically can not FIND older streams. Maybe I am missing something but I want the URL’s to load into my iTunes again. This is why I gave CALM radio 3 stars for right now.
