WeatherPro Overview

What is WeatherPro? WeatherPro for Mac is a weather app created by MeteoGroup, offering high-quality and detailed weather information for 2 million worldwide locations. The app provides a 7-day forecast in 3-hour periods, comprehensive details on temperature, wind direction/speed, air pressure, precipitation amount/probability, relative humidity, UV index, feels like temperature, and more. Users can synchronize unlimited favorite locations via iCloud and view a map preview with recent satellite or radar images. The app also offers two widgets, one in the status bar showing the current weather and one in the notification center with a 3-day forecast. There are no ads, and an optional premium service is available for 14-day forecasts in hourly periods and additional map layers. One subscription covers premium services on all weather apps by MeteoGroup.

    Amazing Visuals - Amazing tool

    This is EXACTLY what I've been searching for: Something that allows me to easliy compare multiple locations for film shoots, camping, etc. It is wonderful. When you search for a city, you can confirm it on the map (my only wish would be that you could ZOOM IN on the map, and see other city names and roads on the map).

    cannot pick weather by various locations

    The search engine will only connect with larger cities. There is no capability to pick a location on the map and get weather info for that particular location.

    I live in Beaverton OR and 5 Beaverton USAs appear when searched.

    A worthless utility as all 5 Beavertons are identified as "Beaverton USA." Which one is Beaverton OR? The satellite/Radar map does hot show anything helpful data to identify which is which. There is no zoom function. Lack of a zoom ability for the maps is a big omission. If I could zoom out I might be able to see where the dot is in the USA. Based on the inability to locate my location this utility is worthless. A waste of 99¢.
