    My fave weather app

When I show it to others, they want it. Got it for the progressed barometer readings for the day - useful to figure out if yr migraines are triggered by pressure changes. Pretty accurate on when precip is expected. And can check weather in surrounding areas. Lovely graphics organized on the screen. International earthquake alerts for those interested in, like, the world. Keep track of weather in foreign countries I'd like to visit. Loads pretty quick too. U probly need this. HOWEVER-- update: I recently find that the report of the actual current weather is not at all accurate. It can be pouring outside and this app says it's cloudy. In other words, it's not up to the minute. So looking out the window will have to do for that, but it means I may not be able to trust the current temp reading. My other apps, AccuWeather and The Weather Channel provide good real time reports. A year later I find the reports are still not quite current in my area. But the general forecast seems close enough. Love the layout tho. Nice graphics. Very quick to navigate thru features. Doesn’t have videos like Accuweather and Weather Channel tho - but those are often slow to load anyway and guzzle battery.

    Best Weather App on iOS

I have been using this weather app for years & it’s always been great & after the update, it’s tops! The only reason I gave a 4 star rating & not a 5 is because in my area most of the time when the pollution gets up to moderate or severe, the section on the app that shows which type of pollution is high & how high it is says pollution data not available when I click it on the radar map. I’ve also noticed that in bigger cities & other areas it has more informative info on most of the other types of pollution & my area only has the PM 2.5 & O3 . This just might be the type of monitoring equipment there is in my area, but it doesn’t explain why it seems it’s always unavailable when it gets bad here. Just strange. I have asthma & I have come to rely on this info to tell me what types of pollution trigger my attacks, as well as the health alerts, & I can’t thank the developers enough for supplying this info in an easy to use weather app. So, thanks again, & if you could figure out why it seems to cut out when the pollution gets bad, & maybe add the other types of pollutants, (if possible), you will get your 5 star review. Thanks again & keep up the good work.

    My Favorite Weather app

Updated January 2021 iPhone 12 Pro. Not long after the last update the App had some sort of break with reality. No temp icon badge, constantly giving notifications that the temperature had changed when it hadn’t. No weather info. After re-selecting notifications, settings, and restarting the phone the app seemed to reset itself and began to behave normally. Not sure what that’s about - most likely Microsoft or T-Mobile - app seems fine now. Updated 31 October 2020 This is my favorite weather app. It has a temperature icon badge which updates as it should and is accurate. The app is very customizable to your personal needs and preferences. Great graphics, smooth animations, standard radar colors (so you know what you are looking at without having to decipher some designer’s pathetic attempt to be unique). Intuitive interface, you don’t have to sit through a 15 minute tutorial to figure out how to use this app! Impressive. I still would like the ability for a bit more customization.... For me there was a lot of unnecessary visual clutter caused by the state’s names and over abundance of cities. I would love to be able to turn off the state names. Also it would be helpful to be able to select the number of cities shown in the same manner that we can select how many (or how few) temperature icons we see displayed for the water or land. Overall, very happy. Highly recommended!

    Superb weather app!

Great app offering more info than any others I have seen. Gorgeous graphics that are very logically laid out. The only feature I have yet to test out is the animated radar, a must-have feature for me. If that works as described this is by far an app worth every cent of it's purchase price. Well done! 4/6/12 update--with the latest update this app just gets better and remains the best I've seen. If you enjoy or need great detail about weather in multiple locales this app is simply outstanding. This app also makes exquisite use of the iPhone's Retina display with truly gorgeous display screens. A+ effort!! 9/4/12 update: Everything above from previous app updates still applies in spades. Radar display even better now and the whole app makes superb use of Retina displays. One of my must-have apps I use many times every day for either home weather, or for friends & family across the U.S. or around the world.

    Updated rating and review

I’ve come back to this app after living with some others for quite awhile. I had faulted a previous version for not providing (or so I thought) information on the amount of precipitation expected. But one of the two selectable weather providers does (at least now) provide that information, which is very helpful, especially in an hourly forecast. This app has some great features that most other apps don’t, like the real time temperature in the app’s icon. And the customization possible in the radar/map display goes beyond Weather Underground’s Storm in many ways. I wish it could display weather fronts, and I wish the app gave access to the National Weather Service’s forecaster discussion, but even without those this app is probably the best there is for weather nerds. New users should seek out the online manual on the designer’s website here. There’s a lot of power here that is easy once you find it, but not immediately apparent.
