Download and Install Raindrop.io for Safari - PC
Download for PC - server 1 -->Intel, 64-bit processor, OS X 10.7 or later.
Compactible OS list:Yes. The app is 100 percent (100%) safe to download and Install. Our download links are from safe sources and are frequently virus scanned to protect you
You've come to the right place.
I would recommend to take the late April to March reviews with a grain of salt. This was a period of time when Raindrop had to switch from being a Safari plugin that you would be able to download from their website, to a Safari plugin you exclusively had to get from the app store. Just some growing pains is all. This was simply to make Raindrop useable for future updates of PC, as Microsoft is removing the capability (or at least the ease of use) to download Safari plugins from 3rd parties. Otherwise, your search is over, as you have discovered what happens to be the best bookmarking/domain organizational tool around. Side note: The developer(s) are ACTIVE. They have updates regularly, and these updates are relevant and highly useful. Better yet, they listen to their customers as you are able to vote on new features (link to vote found in settings I believe)
Perfect
I really love this app and the extension. Its the best bookmarking tool I've ever come across. I even cancelled my Pocket and Evernote subscriptions in favor of this app. I've always kept meticulous brower bookmarks, but this has changed that for the better. Its easy to use, I can organize links the way I want to, and its cross device / cross platform which is a huge win. The backup to Dropbox was the feature that made me officially subscribe.
Trouble importing bookmarks from browser
I like the app a lot, but in order to use it you need to import your bookmarks from your browser. The setup guide shows you how to export bookmarks into a file and then load them into raindrop. For some reason, my HTML file won't load successfully. After importing the file the progress thing says 100% complete, but the page stays frozen and none of my bookmarks appear. No info about how to fix it on their support site.
I wanted to like it...
Looking for a way to leave chrome in the past and use safari but the bookmark syncing and dealing with dupes and checking for old/bad links just isn't up to what google chome and chrome extentions can do. This product might work for some people, i just wasn't one of them unfortunately. I paid for pro version to give it a go and while it might work for some it left me frustrated and i uninstalled it from my iphone and Pc.
