Great App - Long Term Review

I was over using Adobe. They had abandoned users like me. Started using PDF Pro many months ago and never looked back. The developer is awsome and responsive. I've had very few issues over these past months, but when I did, I reached out and received a timely, positive, personal response within 48 hours. PDF Professional Suite

This app works great for me. I use it to complete meeting minutes for my church. I receive reports from each of the members of the church council and these vary in format from Word to Excel to pictures etc. I type the minutes in Word and convert it to PDF. I convert all of the attachments to PDF as well and then combine them to make one PDF file for the final product. This works very well for me.

Absolute garbage, not worth the money

Updated review: would give this app 0 stars if I could I've had this app for four months now. Its ability to convert from pdf to Word is absolute garbage. The developers are no use at all, they will tell you to send them the file so that they can convert it for you, but what to do when those files contain personal information? I have sent sample files to them which they convert from PDF to Word for me but with extremely poor results, text is scrambled and the document is a complete mess. Be warned, this app does not have all the features that they promise and you will not get your money back. Initial review: Purchased this app to convert pdf files to Word. It seems to be the one thing that this piece of software is really bad at. Regarding the rest of the functions that I have tried, they seem to work as promised with the ”compress”, “merge”, and “split” functions being my most used.

Great for my needs!

I have used several more expensive tools for the occasional but very important cases where I have needed to edit, fill out, or modify PDF files. This has been the one that not only does it all, but is so intuitive. I don't need to pay the Adobe ransom for something I do less than once a month. I just get stuff done and done faster.

The new Adobe?!?!

I am very pleased with the ability to manipulate PDF files, expecially creating new PDF through combining, or spitting out pages for existing documents. I can't give half ratings, but I would give a 4.5 because it takes a bit to learn some of the controls, but once figured out, they work really well. I find it better than Adobe in that it's a one time payment for the Suite with so much more control than that supposed free Adobe reader, which was coming up looking for me to pay to install. If I missed the "free" version, then so be it. There are only a few things I will use with Adobe, only while they are free. Meanwhile, I am an Microsoft user and video editor, I don't want to ever use Premier Pro again, or ever learn After Effects. I have Final Cut Pro X and Motion for my editing. Adobe has gotten too big for themselves, and not user friendly.
