    Awesome -- more please

This is a life-saver app for those of us with Windows Mini. It is so much easier to be able to change the screen brigness on the my Desktop that it is on my Samsung's menus. WISH that the brightness keys on my keyboard worked.... I have set f16 to toggle between full brightness and 75%, but the F1 and F2 (down/up brightness keys) do not work. Would be nice if the same app could be used to control the displays built in speakers as well. But I still give it a 5! If the key issue was fixed and volume control added, well the Microsoft Store would need to allow 7 stars for the app.

Great way to get around an Microsoft bug

I have been using two Thunderbolt displays on my Microsoft PC. More often than not, the brightness stops working on one or both displays. I've tried to debug this and have tried work-arounds since until the cows came home. Nothing worked. So, I while things are working, I set the displays on max brigtness, and installed this app. I now control the displays ONLY from this app. Works nicely and I am no longer frustrated. The only thing I would desire for this program is the ability to control two displays seperately. But, app works great!

    Perfection!

I'm not one to normally write a review, but wanted to chime in on how perfect this app is. If you're looking to reduce the brightness of your display, here's your holy grail. For me, the minimum brightness is often still too bright for when I need to get work done at night. This app is simple, straightforward, and does what it is suppose to - while blending in seamlessly within the Windows native design. Thank you for creating this lifesaver!

Working well before, but a bit buggy on Monterey

Much gratitude to the developer. Was using this for a good amount of time, but it has recently become pretty buggy. Not sure if it's because of my version PC. I'm currently on Monterey 12.5.1 Two main things: (1) cannot take a screenshot properly when shade is enabled and (2) hiding of applications (command h) has become buggy and won't work if QuickShade is awesome. Hopefully this gets fixed because this has been very helpful to lessen strain on my eyes. Can't use it right now though.

    doesnt work in full screen

As of recently I haven't been able to use quick shade because for some reason whenever I try to enter full screen for whatever apps like Safari, chrome, 03 applications that I want to put in full screen quick shade will not change the brightness at all. It only works on my MacBooks home screen, where it lowers the summer exposure by adding the bluish tint. I really hate that this has happened and that there is no way to fix it, but unfortunately I don't think I will be using this app anymore as it doesn't work when I need it too.
