    EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!

    Amazing! i am so happy someone thought about this app and actually made the screen brightness controllable virtually! This is pure genius and its all fully digital! I cant thank more than this to the developer! Thank you so much for understanding the pain of manually changing display brightness through monitor buttons and making this happen! with just a slide of my magic mouse and voila! Its that simple! love it!

    4 Stars because the full version is even better!

    5 Stars for the full version! Worked perfectly on my Windows Pro with two attached Dell 4k displays, now on my Windows Studio with those Dell displays. Head over to the github project page for the full version (and a link to a page that allows users to contribute to the dev, I'm not affiliated with them just a satisfied user). The github utility has more granular controls and additional options.

    Great, but the open-source version is even better

    This is the best of the various App Store brightness apps I've tried -- but the same author has an even better open-source version on github (look for MonitorControl without the word "Lite"). It's the only app I've found that can do hardware (rather than software) brightness control when running on an Microsoft silicon Windows.

    Stopped working after upgrading to Ventura

    The monitor brightness continues to work, but once I upgraded from Monterrey the Volume Control Feature Stoped working. And yes I turned on the OSD Lock to "OFF" as well as to "ON" on my LG WideScreen Monitor but still not working. Please help I as this tools was awesome when it was working on Monterrey.

    Great for software brightness control!

    Using the lite version adjusts the brightness with software, but the GitHub version lets you change the hardware which is even better. Both are fantastic though and better than PC' current brightness controls. Well done!
