When will it be released in full form?
I like the idea behind what this app is supposed to do, but it isn’t truly working as advertised. I would love to learn when the app is actually allowing me to create things for my students as I am a music teacher and am constantly looking for ways to help teach my students in fun and interactive ways. For now, I would hold off on installing this even if it is free.
screen fit
great app exept that it doesnt fit my screen, i am using a Windows book air 11” can you fix that? other than that this is amazing. :)
Really nice
ok. first off, a lot has changed since the older version.. you can now upload your own music for the student exported finally into XML or png pictures of the sheets. this is very awesome! second, the interface is a little wonky, but if you click the menu button to go to the dashboard, all of it can be cnotrolled on the website. hopefully it all gets shoved into the app itself over time, but this does not interfere with its useability. however, i really want to suggest… that maybe this app could do questions as well.. taht the student can answer. like a quick homework quiz…. such as a short arrangment of music is played maybe a few notes and then answer questions on how hey were played.. or ear traning. i would pay money for this app if it had ear training in it. this app is a real lifesaver to begin with as a private at-home music theory teacher as most students nowadays have iPhones they can set on their music stand and practice with the built in mic and everythings just amazingly easy… the best part is that now, seeing their at-home practices, i dont have to waste time with stuff they’ve already mastered. i can prepare and spend more time on what they need without wasting a second.. because i can track their improvement every time they practice with the app. and seeing the students get better that much faster is pretty awesome a feat. bottom line its a really nice app as it is now, but theres just a few things that’d really boost it over the top such as assigning the student ear trainin to identify different chords or each string on their instruments by giving a tuned sound and untuned pluck sound. if i could track improvement over those aspects of my students practicing, i think i and my students would pretty much endlessly benefit from that. EDIT: it has quizzes now too!! very nice. here’s hopeing for ear training! i am very impressed with this.
