Software Reviews and Criticism

    Won’t open

I have downloaded the program onto my PC and I can’t seem to get it to launch. I am using the latest version of Sierra. The App is working on my tablet and iphone, but we need it to work on the laptop as well. If anyone has a solution to this please let me know. Otherwise, I’m super disappointed with this version and that we can’t get it to work.

    Learning Ally

I have the new PC with the touch bar, and when I first installed the application it didn’t work, but I contacted customer services. After a couple of weeks, they had installed an update which now works perfectly on my Windows. I have a slow processing issue, and without Learning Ally I would have to go back and reread the pages and would have a hard time. Instead, when I use the audiobooks AND follow along in my book, the words are again spoken to me so that I understand the pages and don’t have to go back and reread. I love Learning Ally, and if you read a lot and like to follow along in your book while Learning Ally plays the audio version, this is definitely the way to go.

Update to the newest Windows Operating System

I updated my computer to the newest operating system. I am now finding that Learning Ally is not compatiable with it. Our school has one-to-one MacBooks so my daughter only has a Windows to listen to her books. When will it be compatible? Is there a timetable? I have contacted our IT people at school and requested for her computer to not be update until it is compatable. Thanks!

    This App Works Fine

The problem these people are having is that they don’t login with the correct login information - its the child’s information that matters - not the parent’s. The app works fine and plays the books quite well. These reviewers are not being fair to the company.

Hope app fix is coming soon!

It is disappointing that the update to fix the broken application is taking so long. ALL HANDS ON DECK! I wish you could provide updates here. You have such a great product and service and I see people in the reviews saying they are canceling service. It would go a long way to let people know you are working on it and they can use Chrome Browser on Windows with Learning Ally extension for now or use iOS app. I can’t find anything on the website about this issue. In fact it still says you can load the app from the Windows App store. It has been broken a long time. At least let people know before they spend their own time discovering it doesn’t work. People are paying for this functionality. Please, please, I hope this is fixed before the school year starts! Thank you and good luck with update. I look forward to updating my review once the app is fixed.
