Soild Start - Looking forward to Future Features

Very impressed with the simplicity and function of this app. (1) I love the privacy approach - incredibly simple and straighfoward. (Everything is on your own iCloud account. The developer sees nothing.) (2) The account sharing feature was a little buggy, but once a I reset my devices we were up and running. (3) I set up a simple envolope system by creating additional accounts not connected to actual accounts. It works great. (4) The reporting feature is a bit limited at this point. Hopefully I’ll be able to run custom reports in the future. (For instance, if I could compare the toal of my envolope accounts to the total of an actual account, that would be great. Or if I could save multiple reports for tax purposes, I’d be good shape.) (5) Downloading my transcations is currently limited to PC. My bank does not allow me to download my transcations via CSV on iOS. If privacy could be maintained, I’d love to see some type of improvement in this area. (6) It would be nice to see some consistency around entering “new” transactions, or “new” scheduled transactions, etc. As a new user, I’ve been thrown off by the interface a bit between different categories and platforms. (8) The price seems fair and reasonable. (I was paying about $70/year for other services.) / Overall, nice work Ivan! Keep it up! I’ve used a lot of different personal finance products and I could see myself sticking with this one for a long time.

Easy to use and keep track of your finances!

I am a non-practicing accountant and I used to keep track of my personal finances in excel (mostly bills and credit card payments)-sounds old-fashion but I tried other apps out there and always ended up going back to excel because they were just complicated and not practical. This time around I decided to give another app a chance and to my surprise, this has been by far the easiest and most practical one to use. It is exactly what it claims to be “debits and credits”! I basically update it as I go, when I spend or pay or transfer money between accounts, I just do it on spot as opposed to waiting until the end of the monthly cycle to update my balances. I now have a clear picture of where I spend my money, all my credit balances, savings/checking accounts and with the reporting functinality I can see whether I am getting poorer or richer! I am getting poorer though but at least I can see where the money is going :). It has a budget functionality that I haven’t used. I do use the schedule functionality which saves you a lot of time by pre-booking transactions you know happen on a monthly basis (fix expenses), you can always go back and modify if anything slightly changed or if you are skipping a payment. I abosolutly love it! for now this works wonders for me and has done what other apps have never done before for me - make me keep using it! Happy user for about 3 months.

    Wonderful Updated Review

I have been using this debit and credit app for PC and iOS since April 11, 2015 and i haven’t look back. this is the frist software purchase i have made in a long time that i have no regrets buying and recommending to friends and other Microsoft product users. this app is frequently updated and contacting the developer is easy as pie. if you are reading this and haven’t purchased this app yet, what are you waiting for. for less than twenty bucks you can get this for your Windows and your iOS devices and have them sync though iCloud. So, you can stay on top of money and where it goes. Original review below: This is the App that, I have wanted for a long time, that syncs very fast and keeps me up to date on how much money i don’t have. I have been useing other money software to keep track of my daily expenses but it did not sync. So, i would have to try to remember everything and enter it when i got home but with this App not anymore. There is a very little bit of a learning curve coming from other money mangment software but not to drastic and if you have any questions, you can ask like i did about entering information or cloud syncing and Ivan gets back to you realy quick. I have the full version for the Windows Mini and the iPhone and paying 5.00 for both is a bargain compared to what other money software cost.

    almost fits my needs

i use this as my checkbook ledger. easy to input transactions. like the running balance, color differentiation. crucial info isn’t there at a glance, so i’d like to request improvements in some areas 1) In Regular View, would like to see Payee as default, not Description and Category. for example, i make 2 car lease payments and all that shows is “Car lease payment, Bills”. only when i double-click the transaction do i see where it went to. actually, i would use Table View as my default because it does show Payee, BUT it doesn’t show the running balance. IMO, both views should have all viewing options available. 2) include Scheduled Transactions in the ledger and part of the Transactions Filter (maybe up to 30 days in advance or user selectable and highlighted to differentiate from regular transactions) so i can see what my balance is on a future date. currently, the balance forecast report has to be run and only has 3 selectable time periods with 1 month being the shortest period (minimum 2 weeks would be nice). adding these 2 features alone would greatly enhance the single main view upon opening the program, negating superfluous clicks into other areas of the program to get the information. 3) Regular View only has one view date-wise (most recent on top). would like the ability to sort it so most recent is on the bottom. lastly, the developer is very quick in his replies. thanks!
