    Used to be great...

    I used to love this browser. I am a pretty organized person so the feature of having screen folders, similar to the iPhone, was a great feature for me because I could organize my web sites in categories. After this last update, I cannot figure out how to input new sites to folders, nor can I figure out how to create a new folder. It seems this feature has either gone away or has been embedded somewhere that it is impossible to find. I have tried the Help feature, to no avail. I wrote to Maxthon about this, however, I have not yet received a response (and that was about 3 weeks ago). I am deleting this app. Thanks Maxthon for ruining a great feature and thank you, ever so kindly, for your customer service in NOT answering concerns from your users.

    Better in the Past

    I used to love Maxthon because of how organized it was to do the job right. When you opened the menu, the most important things were there pinned on the top. The layout now is still nice, but Maxthon did away with features that were there prior. What happened to Extensions? What happened to Skins? What happened to the sidebar? Are they not part of Maxthon anymore? I also used to love the way to organize bookmarks, but it has been replaced with this Maxnote, which has a more webnote feel than a bookmark feel to it. Maxthon just doesn’t feel the same anymore, and I really wish the changes to the newer things wouldn’t be so extreme.

    It does perform better than safari

    Safari does not always use ram efficiently which can cause problems in the middle of a flow. This browser works fine where safari fails. That said, the browser wants an email address and number at start up. Though this can be skipped by logging in as a guest.

    Works flawlessly for me

    I have tried two other browsers on my Windows (all from Microsoft) that are giving me issues. This is the only browser that worked flawlessly on a web-hosting website that I use to edit my webpage.
