aerofly RC 7 Overview

What is aerofly RC 7? The aerofly RC 7 app is a radio-controlled (R/C) model flying simulator that allows users to learn and improve their R/C flying skills. The app features state-of-the-art physics simulation, highly detailed aircraft, and stunning scenery quality. Users can choose from a wide variety of models, including aerobatic airplanes, helicopters, jets, gliders, scale models, and quadrocopters. The app is available in three different editions, with the Standard Edition offering 30 different models and 5 different sceneries. Users can upgrade to the Professional or Ultimate edition using in-app purchases, which offer additional features like freely scalable models, aircraft editor, helicopter hover trainer, and torque-trainer. The app supports many R/C transmitters and joysticks, and users can fly with friends all over the world in Multiplayer Mode. However, it is strongly recommended to use the app with a dedicated joystick or R/C controller with at least 4 independent axes for the best experience. The app has certain system requirements, and some of the complex 4D sceneries require a fast graphic card for optimal performance. The download size of the app is very large and will take several hours to complete.

Follow-up review —— still totally happy with this program

My great experience with the Standard version prompted me to upgrade to the pro version. Very glad I did. The realistic physics tailored to each model is further enhanced in the Pro version by the ability to easily change model characteristics——size, engine power, weight, C.G. and many other features--- with every conceivable type of aircraft in exceptional scale detail. You can essentially duplicate your own planes in virtual form, to practice with. I have found the replication of model behavior in the simulator is very close to the actual permormance and behaviors of my own planes. Graphics details are amazing, scenery and all visual features extremely realistic. Flying on the simulator is addictive. Great for hand-eye coordination practice. Would like to add that Aerofly technical support was very quick and responsive when I had a small glitch----they helped solve a download problem with my PC with a step by step procedure that worked perfectly.

    Love this Simulator!!

I have been flying RC for about a year. Nothing fancy, high wing slow flying planes. Just getting into trying to fly upside down and do rolls nice and smooth. Also just bought a 3D Parkmaster Pro. Borrowed a friends simulator which I used on a Windows PC, but I have an Windows and wanted to use it. Did some research and found this app. Wow, so awesome. Much better than the simulator I was using. I just got the standard version and what’s nice is you can upgrade at any time - which I will do now that I know how great this one is. I have a Spectrum DX6 but no USB cord to plug it into the computer. But, my PS4 controller works fantastic. So I am using that for now. If you are skeptical about this app, don’t be. It is great and has already made me a better pilot. THANK YOU AEROFLY!!!!!

    Really Good

I used Reflex XTR before but that was only for Windows and got tired bootcamping to Windows all the time. AeroFLy RC 7 works flawless on my 15" PC so far which has the dedicated GPU. Never tried on a lesser configuration. Physics simulation feels allright, sound effects are good too although the crash sound is a bit too dramatic :-) I have crashed real models many times, it does not sound like a passanger jet just crashed on your roof :-) It would be great if you could by individual planes or packages like F3A, F3C, Park Flyers etc - Instead of the only two upgrade options... Also a training mode would be awesome where it teaches to different acrobatic maneuvers or even landing and basic maneuvers for beginners.

A big step up from Aerofly Professional Deluxe

An easy install, recognized my controller (FrSky Taranis transmitter via USB) immediately. Graphics is a big step forward, with smooth animation at maximum frame rate on my 2008 Windows Pro. The basic version that you buy initially doesn’t have as many models as I expected, but enough to get lots of practice while the weather does not favour taking a real model out. There are a lot of useful options - I find the challenges especially useful - balloon popping, limbo and precision landings. It’s easy to just zoom around with a simulator, but when there’s a specific objective, you quickly learn your limitations. I expect to upgrade at least to RC7 Professional - it will be good to have better tools to learn helicopters, and a lot more models and landscapes. There are few model flight simulator choices for Windows flyers - this one meets my needs and I can see my flying skills improving each time I fire it up.
