Massive Overview

What is Massive? This is an advanced, workflow-based course on Native Instruments' Massive soft-synth, taught by award-winning synthesist/producer Rishabh Rajan. The course assumes that the viewer already has a basic understanding of synthesis and focuses on revealing the not-so-obvious functions of Massive's oscillators, filters, and modulators. The course covers synthesizing Blazing Leads, Ethereal Pads, Wobble Basses, and other complex Dubstep sounds.     1st and foremost i will say there is NO misinformation going on here. The title, and the description, clearly states that this is a educational app on Dubstep sound design for Massive. If you think your getting Massive for $19 on the Microsoft app store you clearly don’t have a clue what Massive is anyway. No disrespect….just saying. Massive is 1 of the greatest software synths ever made, a true game changer that spawned off a whole new era of sound, and it costs $200 alone….and thats a bargain given the power of it. Having said that…..there is a problem with this tutorial app. The chapter list is messed up and in irratic order, clicking on a specific chapter to watch it doesn’t work (it never plays the chapter you selected), and the app itself constantly crashes. Especially if you start playing a chapter and want to skip to the next. I haven’t had the need to watch this app for quite sometime. I understand Massive’s inner workings well but now i like to go back and rewatch the old tutorials every now and then….just as a refresher for new ideas i may have gotten away from. Anyways I just tried reinstalling this app today and it’s still has the same issues. ****Contacted MacPro Video about the issue and they immediately helped me out w/o ANY hassle. If your like me and are having trouble with this app then contact MacProVideo.com. Literally told them about my problem…and 1 email later it was fixed.
