iChess 3D Features and Description

1. Now in the Microsoft era, it is time to make this old game truly eye candy - so beautiful that is hard to tear your eyes away from it.

2. Why do we decide to go this route? Because it is impossible to create something different without changing the whole idea of the game.

3. That is why we chose to spend a lot of time fine tuning the look of the game.

4. The rules of chess started to consolidate around 1200 in southern Europe, and were adopted by Italy and Spain.

5. This version of iChess 3D is meant for the enthusiast, because we can't guarantee that our algorithm will be a challenge for the passionate players.

    Best FREE chess, but no En Passant?

    Without En Passant, I am not sure if you can really call it Chess, but I've downloaded some programs that had more features in the paid version, but the demo was so weak, I didn't understand what they were giving me a demo of… the colors? This plays a pretty strong game of chess, except I found in addition to not offer En Passant, there are times when I have to switch to the 2D view to make a move, especially when the game is offering me a piece, as in the early pawn gambits. After making the move, I can switch right back to 3D and it works fine. The music can become annoying after a while, but you can turn it off or down, so, right now, this is not a bad free program. After the author works out a few kinks, I think this is a better commercial program than most I've seen in the App store. I was about to purchase one outside the app store, until I found this!

    I don't know where these complaints are coming from

    first of all the 'doink' noise that a couple guys mentioned is not obnoxious at all, and if you dislike classical music, your keyboard has a mute key. Great graphics, and a vintage looking board. I thought it was great. The only think is your rook and king can't switch spaces which is a little annoying, still it's a five star game.
