iPastels Overview
What is iPastels? The app is a painting tool suitable for both experienced and novice artists. It allows users to create beautiful works of art or quick sketches, try out ideas and compositions, and refine their skills without the added cost of art supplies. The app features live-calculated brushes and strokes, realistic paper/canvas textures, precise color blending, and fingertip stroke size adjustment. It also supports left-handed users, allows for live parameter changes, and has a universal purchase option for Pro features. The app is based on Metal and developed entirely using Swift, with Apple Pencil support, full-screen painting, seamless pattern editing mode, dark mode, landscape and portrait modes, wide color, multiple layers, and photo tracing mode (Pro feature).
