Simple app to quickly create basic memes

For making basic "advice animal" memes, this is simple and quick. An app specifically for making memes has a niche, because most normal graphics apps don't offer an outline font. It's most powerful feature is the ability to resize the text. This has a lot of room for improvement (but it's free, so I'm not complaining). My #1 wish is the ability to change fonts. I don't like the built-in font all that much (but it serves). I'd also like to be able to control the output size of the image, or at least have an option to output the image at the same size as the image that you imported. Overall, it's a good app that's tailor-made for a specific purpose.

Simple to use, but not quite there...

It's a simple interface that is easy to figure out, but some features are missing. I'd like to see a drag-and-drop interface from the Finder (as mentioned in other reviews), and I'd also like the ability to position my text lines, other than just at the top or bottom of the image. Also, when I want to save to a folder on my computer, it outputs PNG files rather then having an option for JPEG or GIF formats. I suspect that may have more to do with licensing, so its no deal-breaker for me (especially since PNG is becoming a more popular format on the web).

    Awesome!

Now I don't need to go online and look for a meme generator, or post it online to be able to have my friends see it and then hope it makes it to the main page (which it almost never does). Easier to use, save and share! There are two reasons why I give it four stars: first, because it's missing some memes, like 'I don't want to live on this planet anymore' or 'One does not simply…', and second, because you can't create new memes by putting together an image in your library and a meme from the app. When you add those I will give you 5 stars for sure :)

Cool but no drag & drop?

This is a slick interface. Well done. But it's a little weird that there's no drag & drop: you *can't* drag an image anywhere from the finder into the app to create a new meme, and you can't drag a finished meme anywhere to save it as an image. That's a little unintuitive (especially for such a Windows-looking app). Instead, you have to click the copy button and use the "Import Image" in the file menu (very Windows...). Weird...
