What is Crayon Maestro? The app is a wax crayon simulator that allows users to create art with a striking resemblance to real-life crayons. Users can adjust stroke size by applying more or less pressure with their fingertip, and change color, size, and force while drawing. The app supports Apple Pencil and allows users to assign a second tool, such as an eraser, to their finger. The color palette is easy to use and can be rearranged, adjusted, added, and removed. The app also features full-screen drawing, zooming, panning, rotating, and seamless pattern editing mode. The app is available on multiple platforms and has a one-time in-app purchase to unlock all Pro features. The engine is based on Metal, and the app was developed entirely using Swift. The app also supports dark mode, landscape and portrait modes, wide color, multiple layers, and photo tracing mode (Pro feature).

9. The engine is based on Metal, with 128-bit color and floating-point arithmetic.
10. The results can be used as website or desktop backgrounds, in print, or for textures in 3d modelling.
