  Pretty perfect for my needs

  Sometimes I watch youtube/netflix/hulu and use a browser at the same time. Sometimes I use onenote and a browser at the same time. Sometimes I use sublimetext and reference github at the same time. Sometimes I clean data w/ textwrangler and upload data using filezilla or the terminal window at the same time. Etc. etc. This app lets me do all that quickly and efficiently. I’ve been using the splitscreen app almost since it was released, and have yet to find a better solution to using and manipulating two screens/apps at the same time. I introduced it to my colleagues a few years ago and we’ve all been using it since. addendum: I do mostly back-end work, so usually only need one monitor.

  Very useful App ..

  I have been using this Split Screen Application for five years now and I have to say that my experience has been great .. Its great for anyone sorting multiple files into groups or writing a reaserch paper .. it’s great for having word open on the Left side of the screen and having reaserch documents on the Right side .. Easily Copy and Paste without having to bounce back and forth between apps since they are side by side on the same screen .. Thats just one example, In my studies I have found many uses for this Application .. The icon in the Menu Bar makes it quick to change between Left, Right or full screen Center, the short cuts are even faster and customizable ..

  I rarely leave reviews....

  As stated, I rarely leave reviews but the app asked if I would and I like it enough that I said sure. Here's the bottom line: If you are working off one screen and are constantly tabbing between windows or manually resizing windows to fit both onto your screen, this app will be pure gold for you. This isn't a life changing app or anything. It's just an app that simply and ideally solves a simple but frustrating problem. Every time I use it I think of the friend who recommended it to me and am thankful they did.

  Don’t get me wrong I’va had this utility for 3 years now and use it religiously but...

  I mean its $6.99 so definitley more expensive than other products, it has one MAJOR flaw. I use split screen to neatly, efficiently and promptly split my screen, IT DOES JUST THAT. YAY. But 3 years later I’m still waiting for them to add an update that TARGETS monitors. I mean come on already, I use split screen to multi task you think I dont also have external displays connected? What kind of multi-tasker would I be?! Magnet can do it why can’t split screen. When I try and use my split a window prompty it brings it all the way to my main display meaning now I have to disturb my prompt workflow to move it back and resize it accordingly. I was hoping I wouldn't have to spend $0.99 on magnet, but I mean come on I it ruins its whole purpose. Thanks Team.
