Great, and works in Yosemite
This is really great. Just click on the folder you want to copy the path of, and then click on the copy path icon in the menu bar on top of your screen. To quit it just command click on the menu bar icon and select quit or prefs. I love this app.
Doesn
If you are looking for a tool to copy terminal paths, this isn't it. It only copys POSIX paths. For names with spaces in them, you need to precede the space with an escape '\' symbol. For example, "/Volumes/External\ Hard\ Disk". Unfotunately you will get only "/Volumes/External Hard Disk" with this tool which won't work for terminal usage. The other reviews here must not deal with any names that have spaces in them.
Awesome!
I've been looking for this for years! Just made my life easier. Thanks!
A Must Have!
I’ve been using CopyPath for years in concert with CMD-Shift-G: go-to-folder and paste is indispensable...
