    A little TOO bare bones

This application works okay, but has a few flaws. For example, it's not precise enough if seconds are important to you. To set the timer, you have to drag the clock hands around, and you can only do it in increments of one minute. Then it starts timing from when you open the timer dialog, instead of when you click on Run. If you take 15 seconds to set the timer, it will start at 45 seconds instead of 60. Not exactly what you would want. Also, the starting and stopping of the timer from the menu bar is awkward at times and can take up valuable seconds while the timer's still going. So yeah, it works okay for a $1 app, but it could definitely be improved, especially if seconds are important to you at all, instead of just minutes. If all you need is to time your pizza or whatever, you'll be fine.

    Works, but need more options

I bought this because I wanted a countdown timer for the menu bar. I didn't realize that there was no way to control display of the digital countdown timer in the menu bar. As it is now, if the timer is running, it displays a minutes and seconds digital countdown in the menu bar -- so it is constantly changing. In my opinion, this is too distracting. If it is 25 minutes till the timer is finished, a minute countdown would be sufficient; once you hit a minute or less, then it might be preferable to see seconds -- I just wish I had some control over this. While the timer is running, it could also use a menu option to Reset Timer; currently you need to first stop the timer and then Run the timer again -- two steps instead of one.

Great! But needs a couple tweaks...

Great simple app. Totally worth the $.99. Needs a few things though... like a retina menubar icon. And when setting the timer and pressing the reload button to use the last time, you don't have an indication of what the timer is set to. This is okay if you use the same timer over and over... but if you use multiple timers, it's hard to keep track of the last one you used. Regardless, it's simple and unobtrusive. Thanks!

    It is pretty good

I wish it had the option to pause and resume a stopwatch. Also would be great if you could run a stopwatch and the timer at the same time. The other thing I wish is when you set a timer, it would be nice to key in the minute amount rather than have to move the hands on the clock. Not very precise. Other than that it is a pretty simple app with a nice interface.
