Software Reviews and Criticism

    pretty good version

I like it, though there's a few things that seem like they could be streamlined (why not integrate daily challenge directly into the game?). The biggest issue I have is that the "secondary mouse button" doesn't seem to work. My Windows has only one button (actually, it has no buttons -- it's an Microsoft magic mouse). I've tried every key combination I can find -- control-click, option-click, command-click, shift-click -- and nothing seems to work. The old version used to allow me to highlight valid moves, but I can't do that now. UPDATE (based on response): Yes, I have the right option set in the menu -- I just couldn't figure out how to make the secondary mouse button action happen. Turned out i needed to press two fingers on my trackpad. It's working now. I would be happy to contact you (as suggested), but I can't find any mechanisms to do that besides this review. If I clidk the "contact developer" link, it takes me to your web page where there's no way to submit feedback.

    I’m adjusting

I was not expecting a complete makeover with the update and I hate change. Although the graphics are more artistic, sometimes a card game should look like a card game. My stats also went somewhere. But, it still pays pretty much the same and I do like that now a completed stack doesn’t automatically run—I get to choose when it goes. I will keep playing it and will get used to it.

Fun to play but could use a couple of fixes.

I enjoy playing this game....but would it be possible, when asking it to show moves, have it show only GOOD moves? Also, would there be some quicker way to ask for a new game rather then going over to the menu?

    Deluxe Spider Solitaire

I hate updates - because they always mess with what they think are improvements - that don't improve anything. I liked the previous game better - I liked that you didn't have to prompt anything to happen.. as in a new game, a set to immediately complete, and I liked the layout of the previous (before updated) version. I love Spider Solitaire - but give me the old version back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
