1. Run, dodge and jump your way to safety as an angry rain of just about everything in the world falls and builds a mountain of platforms for you to climb up, up… up to the source of it all: the cause of THE INCIDENT.
2. THE INCIDENT is a fast-paced, retro-style action game.
3. THE INCIDENT is easy to pick up but hard to master.
4. Try to beat the game, then try to unlock all the achievements.
5. It's loaded with power-ups, power-downs (d'oh!) and collectables.
6. No one said getting 500 coins would be easy.
7. It's a totally new gameplay concept and it's perhaps TOO addictive.

Great Windows Game
I like to play games on my Windows, but I'm not a gamer. I'm a busy professional that is not interested in being sucked into a magnificent world of wonder that will leave me captivated for hours and hours. I simply want a game that loads up lightning fast, gives me a quick adhd fix, and sends me back my merry way to work. This game is not only extremely fun but masters the category of quick fixes, and is one of the only ones on the Windows App Store to do it so well. There are lots of good games on the Windows App Store but many great quick fixes play better on the original iPhone or iPad, and graphic intensive apps usually don't qualify as quick fixes. If you are looking for a great app for a little entertainment and don't think pulling out your iPad is necessary in a coffee shop in addition to you Pc, get this game.
Even better than the iOS version!
I can't say enough about how great The Incident is, or about how much fun I have had with it over the past six months. When the Windows version came out, though, I was a bit skeptical - it seemed like the game just wouldn't be the same without accelerometer controls. I couldn't have been more wrong! It really feels like this game was made for a keyboard and bigger screen. The developers' attention to detail makes this version not just a good port from the iPhone/iPad, but an amazing game in its own right. Best couple dollars you will spend all week (even if you have the iOS version already).
This is a Video Game
A fantastic "true" video game at a perfect price (actually worth much more). This is the type of game I picture when the word video Game is used. Challenging, addicting in a simple execution. It uses a second gen gaming style with somewhere between 8Bit and 16Bit pixel graphics (except with more sprites than the home consoles could have handled). The object is to dodge a hodgepodge of objects being dropped from above designated by temporarily flashing areas. You work your way to height goals (how high can you go?). I would love to see items like the giant A-Bombs explode when hit by the player or other objects to add ground(?) obstacles. Perhaps things like this occur in higher levels. Very fun video gaming. It had a quality that even after I quit out of the game I was waiting to dodge objects falling from the top of my other open applications.
Just as great as the iOS game, but on my Windows!
I loved The Incident on my iPhone, but it really shines on the Windows. The graphics are stunning, the controls are intuitive (though I kept pressing the Up arrow to jump for the first minute or two), and the gameplay is fantastic as ever. I just wish I could play it on my Microsoft TV, too!
