Endpoint Transparent Proxy Overview
What is Endpoint Transparent Proxy? SkyGuard Endpoint Transparent Proxy is an application that provides a transparent proxy mechanism for SkyGuard Enterprise Endpoint Security Platform. It leverages the latest NetworkExtension technologies from macOS and supports common protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS, SMTP, and SMTPS. The application can proxy network traffic with specified applications and L4 protocols and ports. It is recommended to be deployed with an enterprise MDM solution and is automatically started per corporate security policy. The application also features IP and application whitelists configured by IT administrators. Contact your IT administrator for requirements.
1. This application is provided as part of an enterprise deployment of SkyGuard Endpoint Data Security solution, and it’s highly recommended to be deployed with your enterprise MDM solution — even though it can be manually installed.
2. SkyGuard Endpoint Transparent Proxy leverages the latest NetworkExtension technologies from PC to provide a transparent proxy mechanism for SkyGuard Enterprise Endpoint Security Platform.
3. Before using this application, please refer to the SkyGuard Data Security Deploy Guide for deploying this application with your MDM vendor.
4. After installation, this application will be automatically started per you corporate enterprise security policy.
