A very good podcast app
I'm really liking Podurama. In the perpetual quest to find something better than Microsoft Podcasts, I have tried a bunch and settled on this one for a while. Most important for me is being able to sync and use it on my laptop and phone. All the podcasts I follow are accessible, searching for others is easy, and the app has a nice, clean and intuitive interface. I like being able to see all new episodes of the podcasts I follow together, a feature common on other apps, but there are also some features that some other apps don't have, such as being able to tag shows and put notes on and bookmark episodes. I haven't used those features much yet, but think I likely will in the future. User guide/F.A.Q. could be more robust and I would like to know if/how data such as ratings and notes are used. (Are notes marked private truly private?) I appreciate that the app is free, but would easily pay for it (although, they highlight that early users can sync across multiple devices for free and, historically, hyping something like that and then taking it away has not gone well for developers, so I would encourage transparency/warnings if that is, or becomes, the plan.) Overall, I think Podurama is a rock solid podcast player that, if it has staying power, could beat out the current top tier apps.
So good podcase app on Windows
Thx for the developer .
Best podcast app out there
This app syncs with multiple devices, payback is flawless, and I love the ability to take notes on shows. This makes it easy to go back and find a show you want to reference. The recommendations are great, you can make playlists, and organize shows in folders. Also the customer service is great, I've given them a few ideas and they always respond immediately.
Grateful for a Windows based podcast app that syncs w/my iPhone
Longtime Stitcher and Overcast fan, but found that I wanted to use my Windows to play and sync my podcasts. Yep, no Stitcher of Overcast on Windows. Step in Podurama. Really like how easy it was to setup on both my Windows and my iPhone. The Windows App is a ported iOS app but given that Microsoft is moving to the M1 chip and making it easier for developers to port their apps it is the trend. Great app. Get it!
Must be yet another woke app...
Once again, here is another app that does not believe in freedom of speech apparently. I was hoping to find an app that has the balls to have podcasts on their platform like Infowars. Heaven forbid we can listen to factual content, or content that challenges the mainstream which ends up being factual in the long run. Don not waste your time with this app if you actually believe in FREEDOM OF SPEECH. If you are just another lamb in the slaughter line, then by all means, waste your time with this cowardly app.
