Euchre with Friends Overview

What is Euchre with Friends? Euchre with Friends is a card game app available for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It offers Euchre, Bid Euchre, and Two Handed Euchre games, including variations such as Canadian Loner, Stick the Dealer, and Nines/Tens. The app allows players to practice against AI opponents or challenge others in online matches. The game has a minimalistic design and features in-game messages, autosave for online and offline matches, and is free with no ads. The goal of Euchre is to win at least three tricks, while Bid Euchre requires players to bid on how many cards they can get and win at least as many tricks as bid. Euchre with Friends Features and Description

1. Two Handed Euchre is one vs one Each player gets 12 cards whomever calls suit must wins 7 tricks to avoid being Euchrered.

2. If the player that called the trump fails to get as many tricks as bid, it is said to be "euchred or bumped" and the opposing player receives 12 points.

3. Winning all five tricks is called a \"march.\" First team to 10 points wins.

4. Winning all six tricks is called a \"march.\" First team to 30 points wins.

5. If the side that called the trump fails to get three tricks, it is said to be "euchred" or "bumped".

6. If the side that called the trump fails to get as many tricks as bid, it is said to be "euchred" or "bumped".

7. Euchre is a trick taking game with a trump, played by four players in teams of two.

8. Online or offline, play Euchre, Two Handed Euchre (1V1) and Bid Euchre! Euchre with Friends has a minimalistic design that makes it intuitive to play.

9. Euchre with Friends is a fully featured Euchre card game designed for iPhone, iPad and Windows.

10. One of the teams names the trump and must then win the majority (3) of the tricks in that hand.

11. Winning all 12 tricks is called a "march".

    My Wish List for Tweaks

    The UI for this app is second to none; really pleasing and I’m grateful to be able to play in portrait mode. For me, the bot play is too fast. Often I’m told to play a card or select a trump suit before I’ve even examined my hand. Just program a few seconds of pause in between bot actions to more accurately mimic normal human gameplay. In normal play (not stick the dealer) in bot mode, I’ve crashed the game when not selecting a trump suit as dealer. The game just halts. Otherwise, this is the best iOS euchre app I’ve used. Kudos.

    Disappointed

    I’m extremely frustrated to find at least one time per game when a Bot deals, another Bot is able to call trump before the card turned up as possible trump never goes around to pass on. It is ridiculous that the bots call so many “alone” hands but the Bot who is my partner never does! Also if I’ve gotten the trick until it is my partners turn the partner shouldn’t trump me unless all he has left is trump.

    Slow it Down

    I like the game, but the bidding goes too fast and the icons too small to be able to follow it well. If there was an option to choose speed of play and the Icons were bigger I would give this a 4 or 5. Also, The suit of trump could be more prominent. Its hard to tell the spade from the club icon. Larger and darker please.

    okay

    my one complaint is that when the cards are thrown into the center the cards end up overlaping and blocking the card numbers so you can see the suite, but not the number. IF fixed this would be a solid eucher app! i really enjoy the options when playing for 9/10, canadian loner, and "stick the dealer".

    This is a game i grew up playing. We use to play it on the school bus on the way to highschool. Michgainians love euchre
