Fight Club 5th Edition Overview
What is Fight Club 5th Edition? Fight Club 5th Edition is a digital character sheet app designed for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition. It allows users to input all the necessary information for their character, including ability scores, skills, proficiencies, and bonuses/penalties. The app also includes a spellbook, equipment tracker, dice roller, and customizable compendium of content. The premium version allows for unlimited character creation and removes advertisements.
1. Fight Club 5th Edition serves as a digital character sheet that can be all you need to play a Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition game.
2. A customizable compendium of content that by default includes all of the races, classes, backgrounds, feats, equipment, spells, and the monsters from the System Reference Document 5.1. This does not contain all of the official content from the Player's Handbook so you'll have to input any missing.
3. Everything you would write into a 5th Edition character sheet can be inputted into Fight Club.
4. And, if going completely paperless isn't allowed in your game, the app can also generate a printable character sheet PDF file.
5. Set your basic character information (ability scores, skills, proficiencies, etc...) and all the stats will be automatically calculated.
6. The app is free to download, but you are limited creating only one character and you will see a small advertisement at the bottom of the screen.
7. Need to roll 1d20 + 6d9 + Constitution modifier? Fight Club has what you need.
8. All of your armor and weapons can be equipped and unequipped and with the tap of a button and stats, like armor class, will automatically change to reflect your current gear.
9. Leave your books, character sheets, and dice bags at home.
10. To make adding easier, there is an Import feature through which you can type/copy content on your PC then transfer the file into the compendium.
11. Upgrading to the premium version with the in-app purchase will allow you to create unlimited characters and remove any advertisements.

Glad to see the PC port
I've been waiting for this PC app for months, ever since Microsoft announced Catalyst. So glad Lion's Den produced it. This (combined with Game Master) are the perfect tools for DMs and Players. I've used the iOS version for several months and have seen how they keep improving it, and allow for your customizations. Thanks! Note: in my practice, using multiple devices with this tool, I make one device the Source of Truth for characters, campaigns, and compendiums (FC and GM). I then export those files to iCloud Drive (Dropbox etc. work just as well), where I can import them to my other devices.
Solid, could use some accessibility updates
Solid app for organizing characters, I keep all my players and NPCs together here. The biggest issues I would like to see resolved are: - Can't add categories like custom creature types to the Bestiary, subclasses, or subraces, leading to a lot of clutter. - When picking spells for characters, there is no way to preview the spell before you select it, unless you pick them one at a time, which is time consuming. - Some features are difficult to find and/or manage, specifically proficiencies.
A Great Aid to GMs, but...
I've reviewed this app already. It's a great program and you can easily add races and classes from supplemental materials, create your own feats, reactions, etc. HOWEVER, I have noticed that if you are adding material into the compendium for too long, the app will crash on you. Back up your stuff regularly!
One character only
I didn't have any issues with creating a character or adding content. I did have three issues: 1. There were frequent crashes when adding individual traits to a character or to the compendium. I had to save and exit after each text field or trait in order to keep any changes. 2. I get an endless loop when I attempt to create a second character. This is a problem as I am the DM and I need to have the entire party created for the interconnected apps. 3. There is no way to export a created character into a standard character sheet or .pdf format. When these features are fixed, I will probably use this program. As it is now, I find it has limited utility.
Works Well
I use this on my laptop, it's a nice replacement for character sheets after importing all the rules and stuff. It's obviously designed for mobile devices, since the only drawback seems to be certain non-essential features don't work on OSX, like selecting character sheet portrait photos doesn't work. I tried to send an email to them from the app but that ALSO only works on mobile as it tells me no Email App was found ahaha. Also when I try and put certain items into containers from my inventory the whole thing crashes. Good otherwise.
