  Awful!

  Those of us that have been playing on what is now known as “Classic” Webkinz, have been asking for, begging for, Ganz to update and improve certain things in Webkinz World, for years! Well, they did, but not on “Classic” Webkinz. Instead they made this monstrosity. Yes, I did download it and play it, but it didn’t take long for me to see that THIS new version of Webkinz World was going to push The now “Classic” Webkinz to the back. We have begged for doors to be removed, but “No!, but they did it on the “New” Webkinz. The ability to put more than two items on a table. The ability to angle an item like a chair. And, Bring back the stuffed pets and trading cards. Again, “No!” I realize that Flash is going away at the end of the year, and the PC desk top app has literally “saved” Webkinz for us, but WHY did you have to waste time AND money creating something “New”, when all you really needed to do was to bring back the plushies, trading cards, fix all the virtual items that haven’t worked in years, stop making so many items cost e-points instead of KinzCash, and most of all remember that Webkinz is played, bought and paid for by ADULTS, not children. Children lose interest really fast. We don’t. However, if you don’t improve the “Classic” Webkinz, you might lose your biggest Cash Cows. Your ADULT players.   Webkinz is going to go bankrupt

  This game is literally so horrible, and as a longtime Webkinz fan I’m very disappointed in Webkinz right now. They used to be such a great company, and everyone loved their plush. Ever since they got rid of Webkinz Signatures, everything has gone downhill. We had to wait two years and we were so excited to get the original Webkinz plush back and THIS is what we get?! This is insane. Close to nobody likes this, and anyone that does is absolutely insane. I’m going to be completely honest: This is a last minute hope that their company will get popular again. Everything in the game is overly expensive and the game is poorly made. The new rainbow unicorn and rainbow golden retriever is all a gambling game. The mentally ill people that are so desperate to get them literally end up spending $400 on a stupid knock off beanie boo. Not to mention that beanie boos are way cuter and way higher quality. And they aren’t $400, they’re $7. And the people that are trying to give this game a chance end up spending like $50 trying to get one and they end up getting NOTHING. Webkinz, this is very disappointing and I hope you listen to your fans and decide to bring back the old Webkinz plush before you go completely bankrupt. I’m surprised nobody on the staff has realized how completely stupid this is.

  Still needs some love!

  I started playing Webkinz when it first came out, on PC. I had collected upwards of 50 plush toys and spent waaaay more time in-game than I probably should have lol. The daily login incentives (Wheel of Wow; Wishing Well; Jumbleberry Fields; Bingo; etc etc) and tournaments (especially Goober’s Lab; the cooking competition; and the fashion game) were some of the main draw-ins for me. I recently picked the game back up, and now I explore both Classic and Next daily (right back to that way more time than I should category 😅😂). I still definitely prefer Classic, but as a prior review read, Next has so much potential! Many kids have access to a phone/tablet before a computer these days, and the controls I struggled with as a kid could be easily mastered on an app for the targeted age range. One of my main lacks with Next is the lack of the daily login essentials. I can’t wait to see how this game grows ♥️

  I want it to be better.

  I grew up on webkinz classic, so when I heard they made a new webkinz game I was a bet skeptical, since I still play webkinz classic till’ this day. But this isn’t a review for classic. Where do I start, well, I’ll start with the pros of this game first. I like the doors? Their better then before. I also like the “advanced placing option”, it pretty much makes you place items wherever without being locked to a grid. I also like how GANZ kept classic. That was very smart. It’s clear their trying their best. That’s all I like. Now to the cons, the main thing of course is the animation. It just looks god awful, I get I 3D is cool but it would of been better if it was just 2D like classic. The new plushies look awful too. There isn’t much to like about this game, why play this when we already have classic? Guess we’ll never know. This game could be great, if it was to revamp and change the style and gameplay. This has a chance, I just wish it was better, because I really wanted this to be good.

  Better than the original!

  As an adult who grew up playing the PC version, I was so upset when I logged in to find the Classic game had become mainly about having eStore points and being a member. There’s almost nothing to do on there now. I do love the layout of this game though more than the first one. It seems like there’s way more interaction throughout the whole town. I always felt like the original was fun to do the daily things like Wheel of Wow, Gem hunts, and Wishing Well. But this is giving me fun tasks that makes it even better! I just wish my game wouldn’t freeze every time I go into the arcade. I have a few tasks right now requiring me to play games, and can’t compete them but my screen freezes every time :(. Other than that it’s a total win for me!
