Kudos Overview
What is Kudos? Kudos is an app designed for individuals who collect or share digital information and want to keep track of the source. It allows users to bind useful text with an active link back to its source document and format both the source text and reference. Kudos supports various electronic document sources, including Apple, Microsoft, Google, and other apps. Users can trigger Kudos by selecting text and using a keyboard shortcut, right-clicking, dragging the text selection to the Kudos icon in the Dock, or dragging the text selection onto the Kudos window. The app offers formatting options such as adjusting font and size, including up to 8 elements in the reference, placing the reference above or below the selected text, and highlighting with a regex capable search widget. Users can share or save information in Text, RTF, PDF, and AIFF formats and append Kudos information to existing .txt or .rtf files. Kudos also supports Mojave's Dark Mode.
