  Needs some work

  I bought the paid version as the free version did not have many options. I was able to figure out with some trail and error and got a product I liked. I saved the logo and then went to one of my contracts to add it and the logo was not the same as the one I created. The content was the same but the text was not the same size. I had created an overlay icon and this is what I had placed my text centered on and it was completely different. I even went back and created three more similar and each time I liked the placement but when I saved it and opened it, it was never the same. If you can get that fixed I would give you 5 stars.

  Limited, but effective

  If you need to design a a quick logo, with an iconic shape and limited text, with a few colors, a number of possible backgrounds, etc. -- without worrying about copyright issues for art internet art -- this is s 4 star product. I can only go to 3 stars, though, because I wanted to do several slightly more complicated operations, and this version seems limited to the very basic stuff it does very well. I may have other situations where I need a quick, clean logo -- and I would use this for that circumstance.

  Need to be able to export vector art.

  This has some potential to be great software. It doesn't work as expect when you do layouts. Attempting to get things aligned the way you want them is no easy task. My biggest gripe with it is there is no option to save as vector artwork. Ho logo design software could be made that only makes png files is unacceptable. Vector files are smaller and have many advantages... the biggest being scalability. There is a very similar app available for IOS that offers that capability. The only upgrade that will matter to me is vector output. Without it, this useless for me.

  This is my first review ever… .

  Albeit cheap, I purchased the full version for the extended content. Little did I know that “the program does not open the files that it creates.” This is sad and should never happen to anyone shopping on the App Store - it reflects upon Microsoft whereas, the company should know what is being sold! The developer should develop this app further. For example: 1.) Create a user preference pane and, 2.) Certainly make the app capable of opening what it creates. The worst thing about this app: It does not give the user the comfort of knowing that size and scale will be functional on platforms for intended use. I hope I do not run into to such problems later.

  Could be a 5 Star

  I love the “idea” of the app and that it gives you a start to see what you could possibly create. I didnt get the pro. That said, as I worked on a logo (non pro), this app did give me the tools to imagine a greater idea to build on. There weren’t enough options as far as instant logos but that is not really what I wanted. I want to create my own pictures. I want to be able to imagine and create my own ideas. Maybe you can do that with pro. I just do not want to pay for something that is generic. I will read more reviews from people that have used pro to make a more knowledgeable decision. I would encourage all to do the same before giving a bad review. I liked the app for said reasons but the fact that I have to pay for it to see more..I’m just not there yet.
