    Really good

Update 2: I clicked "update all" and now I have version 4 but I wish I still had version 3.5 since I've lost features. I respect the developer's right to get paid for his work but I'm sad that I lost some features. Oh well still a nifty app. You still get spotlight for free and that's the most useful. Updating my review to 5 stars -- all three of my suggestions below were implemented! What a great little app for free! ----------------------------------- I'm on High Sierra and it worked fine on my Pc in my quick testing. Haven't tried multiple monitors. IMHO only one of the options is truly useful -- the spotlight. My suggestions: 1. A preference for the delay. I'd like an option to see the spotlight immediately. 2. A pref for the opacity. It would be nice to dim the background not quite so dark, so you could still see it. 3. A pref to use the key as a toggle -- press once to turn on, again to turn off -- so you don't have to hold it down the whole time. Thanks to the dev for giving us this cool little app!

    Nice pointers, bad implementation

I used to like this tool until I realized that the app will overtake my arrow keys, meaning that pressing arrow keys would simply change the type of pointer instead of performing the original functions of these keys. How am I supposed to change slides while presenting?? (I don't remember running into this problem when I tried this app a few weeks ago. Wonder if this is a poorly implemented new feature introduced in a recent update?)

    Great idea however ...

I used the trial version which only has a spotlight (which is fine). I couldnt get it to work with Zoom when I share screen a Power point presentation. The spotlight pointer appears on my screen butis not broadcast to my class online. The other bug is that my mouse cursor ocassionally disappears when I switch back from the Screen Pointer. This makes it unreliable for presentations.

    Indispensable

I regret not reviewing sooner, but have been overwhelmed with pandemic. A colleague prepared instructions for recording vidoes from PowerPoint, but it relies on features that don't work or work poorly on PC. I use instead QuickTime screen recording and ScreenPointer for pointing. It works flawlessles. Absolutely indispensable for my online teaching. Thanks!

    Great for remote presentations.

Great app. Free version does a nice job with the "spotlight" effect. Great for displaying spreadsheets, project management and data apps where you need to draw attention to a screen area. I paid for the full version to support a great product although I typically only use the spotlight.
