Counterintuitive?
This app is either incredibly counterintuitive or only half-baked. I am starting with a single timer, but every time I start and stop it (using the play button next to the entry), it spawns another entry when stopped, instead of simply incrementing the total time for that task. Further, despite all of these entries having today's date in the detail view, they all show up under "Yesterday" in the main view. In short, it seems like this app needs some fleshing out.
Great just a questio
After trying a few paid ones, I actually use this app on all devices. Its great and free. The latest update doesn't seem to have the automatic tracking on laptop where it tracks the programs you use. has it moved or is it gone cos that was the feature I used the most?
Works for me!
Does everything I need and I love the way it works with my phone app as well. I am a huge fan :)
so buggy with desktop app
The desktop app won't let you create projects or identify clients. All it's good for is showing the time you're spending on a project in the menu bar. None of the settings sync when you change them, and you can't update your project list
Free and usable - am I dreaming?
There are countless of freemium of timekeeping apps out there that are useless unless you pay–this app is not one of those. It does what I need it to do, track my hours per project. I looked for a few years trying to find something and this has been, by far, the easiest and most reliable apps I've used. To note: 1) I only use it on my work PC, I don't know how well it syncs on multipe devices. 2) I only use it to track time (no invoicing, rates, etc.) 3) I only track my time and don't use it with multple users/peers.
