Free Safari Extension!!

Glad to have the Disconnect Safari Extension back; the only reason I downloaded this app. The Extension is not as good as the Pre-Mojave version downloaded from the internet. You no longer have the ability to see what is being blocked on each site or whitelist specific sites, but it is better than nothing. Thank you for keeping this extension free!

Half-Baked App & Extension is Broken

The app itself is really bad as it only provides very basic functionality and it never shows any blocked trackers. This has been happening for a year now. Also, the Disconnect extension for Safari breaks a lot of sites so I had to disable it. When the Disconnect extension is active on websites like Facebook and Yelp, it will disable all the graphics and layouts except for the text. I tested to see if there was conflicting extensions by turning them on and off, and only Disconnect causes the problem. For this reason and an the unreliable extension, I have to give Disconnect two stars.

Good app.

Requires a bit of a setup to connect it with the other devices you want to run it on. Took me a day to find the instructions, but it was easy.

Not good with Mojave

Installed this on a PC with Mojave and it has lots of PROBLEMS. First off it doesn't stay connected all the time. I set it before connecting and come back an hour later and it says the Protection is off. Next, the amount of pop-up windows asking me to authenticate to allow keychain access is beyond annoying. This app needs a major overhaul from the ground up, or withdraw itself from the app store. Sadly I paid for a year of this garbage.

Surprise, gotta pay extra for one account

How often do you find yourself needing your VPN live on BOTH you desktop/laptop AND your mobile device at the same time? Probably very infrequently if at all. So why when using the same Microsoft ID one has to pay for iOS sepearately than for PC seems pretty cheesy. Others like ProtonVPN have managed to apply a more common sense approach, might be worth copying ;)
