The Stream to Roku app allows users to wirelessly stream local videos, music, and photos from their Mac to Roku Streaming Players, Roku Streaming Sticks, and Roku TVs without the need to install additional channels. Does what it says

Love it! Downloaded this because there aren't any good Christmas movies on Netflix/Prime this year. Now I can watch all my movie files with my parents through their Roku. Works well. Two negative points: you can't scroll through the film, have to use fast forward. Also can't drag and drop files into the player, have to "open files" and find your file to add to the queue. Otherwise, I love it.

does what i need it to do.. Simple and easy

Great app, and easy to use. verey clean and simple too. Only issue I had was that my playlist will not do continuous play from one video to the next. I have to go back to my Pc to start the next video. Using Roku Stick and PC 10.3 Hopefully that feature will be added.

Doesn’t/t recognize my m4v movies.

In the app’s description m4v is listed as one of the formats that can be streamed with this app. When I want to add a movie all my m4v files don’t show, they’re not even greyed out, it’s like they don’t exist. Very disappointing.

Will not work as advertised. Fails to launch and stream; crashes

Crashes ROKU Streaming Stick +. Rebooted all devices. No Go. NOT A GOOD PURCHASE Went to "Mirror for Roku” that worked immediately, but cost me twice as much.

My TV show up in the “CAST TO” and it’s selected but NO response on my ROKU TV!!!

In the App my TV show up in the “CAST TO” section and my TV selected with a checkmark next to it but absolutely NO response on my ROKU TV!!! I hope that technical support will reach out to help me to see if we can fixed this problem but until I can get this App working I can’t give it a good rating. (I try to change or edit my review if technical support can help me get this working.) If we can’t get it working I am hoping for a refund. Update: I thought that this App. would stream anything on my computer screen to my TV but I guess it’s not that kind of Application. I was able to send video file to my TV but, as far as I can tell, this is the ONLY THING that it is useful for. I am still a little disappointed that I spent $5.00 on an App. that did not do what I wanted it for.
