EyeSpy Overview

What is EyeSpy? EyeSpy is a free macOS app that features cartoon eyes that follow the mouse cursor on the screen. The app includes the ability to share cartoon characters via social media and offers additional cartoon eyes through in-app purchases. EyeSpy is a modern implementation for macOS Sierra built with Apple's SpriteKit and CoreAnimation libraries. The concept of cartoon eyes following the mouse cursor has a rich history and EyeSpy was first introduced by illumineX at the turn of the century. The app is compatible with various Apple computers running macOS 10.12 (Sierra) and newer.

Software Reviews and Criticism

    fun, but crashes

It works fine with the standard “eyes,” but when I try to change the character, it crashes every single time. But the eyes are fun. Very old school.

    "Itty-Bitty" is HUGE

I guess this is to get a giggle out of toddlers, or something. "Look at the funny Googly Eyes!" Me, I was hoping for a pointer locater, and even "itty bitty" is far too big for that putpose. I was hoping for eyes about the size if the icon in the top-bar that I could just glace at when needed.
