What is WeatherRadar? WeatherRadar is a Mac app that provides live radar images and current weather as well as forecasts. It offers access to all 155 NOAA radar stations with their latest radar images and accurate weather forecast data from Dark Sky. Users can select a location by name or pointing on the map to get both the weather forecasts and radar images for that location. The app also features radar sensitivity settings, weather forecast details, and the ability to navigate to any place on the map and get the current weather and forecast shown straight away. WeatherRadar is the first version of the app, and the developers welcome suggestions for improvement.

No help

There is no way to lock in any changes to your reporting stations or any changes you use beyond the defaults. I have written two emails with questions and recieved no answers. I am removing the program from my computer.

Where I live the radar app on my phone shows the radar and the forecast which is a nice feature, now I can see things larger using my computer. This app is well worth $3.99 to give it a whirl. The selection of locations is very easy to use and understand. However it took me a few minutes to get to my locations allowed in my Microsoft apps (go through the Microsoft icon in the corner and go to prefrences to turn on location for this app) which I had to unlock the Computer, check off the box for the program to allow it to use locations before it would work. After I figured that out. I loved the radar map in motion so I can see where the storms are. Living where I do we have had numerous hurricanes and lots of summer daily storms after all this is Southeast Florida. Also radar is very important to know the directions and where the storms are coming from. We call our location the bubble. Storms will pass us by, we see dark skies in the distance, hear and see lightning but the wind and the direction of these storms either go north of us and south of us that why having the Radar helps us. With the climate change, we are feeling it Florida, what used to be predictable has changed. That is why I need a radar program that works just like this one to plan my outdoor living. Go to the beach, ride horses, walking, just being outdoors depends all on the weather radar. Being prepared for strong storms is important living in the tropics. Another benifit is it has a maps to choose many locations including, a weeks forecast for anywhere. So when I travel driving from state to state I will know ahead of time what the weather, temps, and other statistics for those locations are. Kudos to the programers and staff it took to get this program up and running with no bugs yet to be found, get into the app store for such a reasonable price. And a hearty thanks, after looking through all the other available apps this one I chose seems to be by far the best. I say highly recommended. 5 STARS

Awful

Awful App. Features are clumsy like not being able to add cities to the pull down menu that’s there. Graphics are very 1990’s.

Doesn’t even start

I installed the application, and it immediately crashed upon opening, even after a restart and reinstall.

Will not even launch!

Downloaded it, and it crashes every time I try to run it. Sorry I purchased it.
