Cuprum Overview
What is Cuprum? Cuprum is a viewer for Gerber, Excellon, and ODB++ files on Mac. It has basic editing capabilities and supports Gerber X2. The app allows combining multiple files of different kinds and exporting them as a single Gerber dataset. It supports viewing and printing multiple layers simultaneously. Cuprum has an integrated QuickLook plugin for previewing files in Finder and other apps. The app offers various tools with advanced snap features, full zooming, and navigation of the image with an intuitive interface. It also supports zooming to actual size, multi-page printouts, and PDF generation. Cuprum allows selection of objects, inspection, and editing of all properties, and highlighting of connected copper. 1. -Multi-page print out (or PDF generation via the print panel) is supported with variable scaling and presets for actual size and page fill.
2. -Cuprum allows full zooming and navigation of the image with an intuitive interface whether you use a trackpad, magic mouse, normal mouse or pen tablet.
3. Multiple files of different kinds can be combined and exported as a single Gerber dataset.
4. A QuickLook plugin is integrated in the app, so you can preview files in the Finder and other apps.
5. -It can also zoom to actual size, which corrects for different monitor DPI’s, so actual size is actually actual size.
