Simple, yet lovely to look at

I was a bit hesitant at getting this…but it looked like it was a free app, so I figured I’d give it a try. Well…it’s only free for 3 “memories”. then you have to pay $4.99 to continue. But last year I was using 750 Words for $5 per month. I figured it was easier and cheaper to use this app. By trying it, I knew that I liked the way it worked…so it was a no brainer for me. If I miss posting once in awhile (like the next two days) that is fine…with 750 Words I could do that, but the challenges they have on their site makes you want to do it everyday…no matter what. Again, this is simple to use. You can post photos (I’m trying to post one photo a day along with my “Memories”. So….I say get it! Try it for free for 3 days (memories)….then pay the “big bucks” of $5.00 to own it. It’ is totally worth it!

The Best of What’s Available, IMHO

Maybe my criteria are weird, but after searching and trying out MANY journaling apps, this is the closest to what I want: 1) OS/iOS access, 2) password-protection, 3) a reasonably user-friendly UI. I’m not blogging or trying to promote “my beautiful life” or taking notes/spreading my words on the world as I see it, but there are SO MANY apps that promote/integrate those activities, and SO FEW that are just an easy, SECURE way to record what one did/does/thinks/perceives in a day. [AND MORE! If one wants to! Photos! Videos! Location tracking! SO MANY MORE FEATURES!] But seriously, this is a GREAT option for people who want to do a lot — OR very little. And do it on a laptop, an iPhone, or an iPad. And with some security.

Just what I’ve been looking for!

I am an aspiring creative writer (songs, poetry, books, blogs, etc.) and I needed something I could access from any device so whenever I had a whim I could jump in and put my thoughts down. Reminisce has met that needs and exceeded it. Clean, non distracting, but also has great organizational tools and appropriate design options. This is a wonderful tool for the beginning journal writer, middle school diary keeper, or aspiring professional writer. Additionally the premium features come as a one time cost rather than a monthly subscription like the other options (I’m Looking at You Day One!).

    JUST WHAT I NEEDED!

This app is a great value for the price — it is just a journaling app. So many I looked at had so many additional features that I wasn’t looking for and such higher price tags! It is just what I have needed to get started on my journaling journey. THE ONLY THING MISSING — once you hit “done” on an entry, you are done. There is no editing options once you’ve hit the “done” button. That is taking some getting used to because I never seem to be able to catch my mistakes or I realize I would have liked it arranged differently. Other then that, this is really a very good app!
