Alpha Omega Overview

What is Alpha Omega? Alpha Omega is a premium word puzzle game with over 2,500 levels. The game challenges players to solve each crossword puzzle with only the first and last letters as their guide. Each level is full of clues to reveal, and once a word is deciphered, it becomes a clue for other words. The game features a beautiful ambient soundtrack by instrumental artist Elskavon, and players can also access the full soundtrack through the Music Player. The game includes colorful themes to change the look and feel of the game board, and progress can be synchronized between macOS and iOS devices with iCloud. Alpha Omega is a premium version with unlimited hints and no in-app purchases.

    Fun to play, makes you think

    Once I got past the introduction of the game, I have really enjoyed it. The beginning can be frustrating, but you have to get through it to play the game. The first example with alpha is straightforward but the second with alpha omega is not. You cannot solve the puzzle like the first one. What you do is keep clicking on and following the hints/directions on the bottom. Once you go through all the paces it will let you solve the puzzle. It’s like that test that the first instruction is to read the test all the way through before starting and the last line of the test says, place your name on the test, and turn test in. So, if you don’t read and follow the steps you will think it is frozen and you will get frustrated, thinking the puzzle will not work. At least that’s what I did, several times. I finally decided to follow the directions and it was a piece of cake. lol. It may just be me, but several people have commented that the game freezes up. Other than in the introduction of the game, I have not had it freeze up on me, and it only 'froze up' because I wasn’t following the directions. lol. I hope you enjoy the puzzles as much as I am!!

    No longer buggy

    I boughht this game three years ago, and it was so buggy that I really couldn't play it. Hence I deleted the game from my computer. While recently scrolling through games I'd purchased over the years, I decided to reinstall this game to see if it had improved, and to my pleassant surprise it had. I've had no problems after 43 le3vels of the orignal theme. Hence, my zero stars rating has become much more positive. A fun word game.

    Needs a tune up

    Help! The letters are sticking and won’t flip! Constant hiccups in the new version. Please fix! I really miss this game.

    This game is challenging in more ways than one, great exercise for the mind and word skills. Clearer explanation in the beginning would help greatly. But after you figure it out, its Cool. Like having scrabble and a crossword puzzle rolled into one!
