Sample Manager Overview
What is Sample Manager? Electribe Sample Manager is an app designed for owners of the Korg Electribe Sampler. It allows users to easily browse and import wav and aif files, prelisten to samples, convert them to mono if needed, and save them into a single .all-file that can be read by the Electribe Sampler on start-up. Users can also delete factory samples, rename samples, categorize user samples, and even overwrite single or all factory samples. The app is compatible with SD cards and users are advised to keep backups of their .all-files.
1. Electribe Sample Manager is a must have for all owners of the new Korg Electribe Sampler.
2. In case a sample cannot be imported feel free to contact me.

Necessary, but could be better
Helpful software for ES2 users. Some things could be a lot better though. Apparently the Windows version of this app has sample editing, and loop control? I wish we had these features too. I made the time-sucking mistake of accidentally importing all of my drum samples with the loop setting selected. I’m going to have to redo all of my work. The software needs to be updated with the ability to change looping after importing samples.
Really Handy Tool Opens
This simple application unlocks the sample file handling on the PC that is awkward and time consuming without it. Really something korg should have provided with the sampler, it would be great to see this extended to include pattern handling. Makes it relatively easy to save multiple sample sets onto the one card to really expand your sound palette. Without this software, I felt as though it was a hassle to use anything but the default samples, this opens up the PC to so much more. Thank you!
Not bad, but there are free options that are better.
Not a bad app, but crashes on me whenever i go to select a sound. Also has no abaility to export indiviual samples or set loop start times. e2sEdit is (in my opinion) better and it's free. Just something to be aware of.
If you own a Korg ES2 get this one
Because of Korgs peculiar file management system assistance is GREATLY appreciated if not required for the ES2: that’s where this App comes in (and saves the day). Providing a comprehensive way to get an overview of sample content and the freedom to drag, drop, and move samples in the order of your choice is indespensible. All my samples are formatted correctly and saved as ready-to-go .all files. Now I geek out assembling sample sets, catalog those sets, and (most importantly) Get Busy with my ES2 which is only as powerful of an instrument as the samples the user loads into it. Thank You developers and an easy Five Stars.
