Absolutley terrible for a file manager
This program hardly manages anything. It reminds me of the old file manager of windows 3.1 back in the early 90's. Basically all it does is display the contents of a folder. Take a hard look at where programs are headed these days on almost all platforms. Menu's are being integrated with the mouse or a context menu. Who wants to browse through menu pulldowns to find a command or press a key on the keyboard… no one. Unless it is a special user defined function the keyboard becomes useful. It is really sad that Microsoft can't come up with a descent file manager to replace Finder. The default finder program in OSX is just one step up from this program I am reviewing.
Does its job, but crashes often
This is an ok app for basic functionality, but using FTP causes it to crash every time the connection times out. Also, the scrolling is messed up where I'll scroll down in a long list of files, click to select something, and it jumps way up and selects an entirely different file. Giving it 3 stars just because it's free and it kinda works.
No app support and website
Hi. I have some ideas and want to propose a help in development but I can't find a way to connect the developer of that app. If you are interested in that - please give some possibility to connect you.
Nice start
Nice file manager, great replacement for Finder. However, it has some issues: - file/folder names are not vertically aligned with icons; - it would be great to have option to show full path in Tabs (or at least as much symbols as it fits); - shortcut Cmd-F2/Cmd-F1 to quickly go to desired server/folder (for Windows users, who used Total Commander/FAR Manager); - multi-encoding file viewer-manager, open it in new tab, not in the new window - other application name and icon :)
