Jirassic Overview
What is Jirassic? Jirassic is a Mac app designed for developers to automatically track the time they spend at work. It tracks tasks based on git commits, lunch breaks, daily scrum meetings, code reviews, time spent on social media, and meetings from the Calendar.app. Jirassic creates daily and monthly reports that can be saved as worklogs to Jira Tempo. The app asks users to start the day when they open their computer and records the timestamp of finished tasks, eliminating the need to remember when a task started.

I love the tool, but it’s a bit buggy still
I needed a time tracker, and Jirassic seemed the clostest to what I want. The idea is great and I love how it asks me what I did after leaving the computer for a bit. However, the UI is buggy and it’s easy to get it into a broken state. As a result I end up restarting Jirassic several times per day to get the UI back into a correct state.
