1. وللإنتقــال إلى العربيّـــة ألفــاظ الثّقافــة العامّــة، استفيــد من مراجــع كثيــرة، أدّت إلى الإكثــار مــن المترادفــات العربيــّة، لم يقــم بنحـت الألفــاظ الجديــدة، بل سعـى في التّرجمــة إلى الدّقــة والطّريقــة العمليّــة، متجنّبــا المترادفــات التّقريبيّــة والتّرجمـات النّظريّــة الّتي يتعسّــر استعمالهــا.

2. ومن أهــمّ ميــزات هذا المنجـــد هو أنّـه أخضـع التّرجمــة لمعيــار المثــل، لأنّـه بالمثــل وحـده يمكـن التّحقّــق من صحّــة التّرجمــة ومن صفتهــا العمليّــة، وبالمثــل وحــده يهتــدى إلى الّلفــظ المطلــوب.

3. تجنــّب فيـه واضعه الألفــاظ والمعــاني النّــادرة الإستعمــال، وتوسّــع في الألفــاظ والمعانــي الكثيــرة الإستعمــال، ولم يهمــل من المصطلحــات العلميّــة الفنّيــة ما لا يستغنــي العربــي المثقّــف عن الإلمــام بــه.

4. كمـا عمــد إلى ترجمــة التّعابيــر الإنكليزيّــة الخاصّــة والمعانــي المجازيّــة، لابجمــل تفسيريّــة بـل بعرباويّــات ومعــان مجازيّــة مماثلــة.

5. What has helped him is – and it is one of the most important characteristics of the Mounged – that he submitted his translation to the test of example, for only the latter permits one to verify the correctness and practicability of the desired word.
