1. You can even play videos and audio mixed within your Slideshow and the music gets automatically dimmed or muted for a nice Media Center like entertainment experience.
2. Just hit the Slideshow play button to view your media folders automated with nice transition effects and background music.
3. You can set the interval speed of each slide, choose transition effects and select your music from really cool handpicked background tracks.
4. A simple controls panel and lots of shortcuts for browsing, rotating, play/pause, toggle fullscreen, toggle info panel and much more is built right in.
5. For any of your media you can toggle the info panel to see detailed information and Exif data for example.
6. Phiewer is the easiest and fastest way to view your images, videos and even audio files.
7. It turns the whole interface background into a blurred ambience like you may have seen in lots of videos on the web.
8. It's incredibly fast and responsive, your media fits fluidly right into your viewport, of course also in fullscreen mode.
9. There is also the possibility to select your own music from your hard drive.
10. Setting the Slideshow to loop and you will have endless running Memories.
11. Phiewer also displays most common RAW camera image formats.

Absolute ly useless
Nothing but problems on the Macbookpro. images open up pink in colour - app finds other pics than the one in the folder - photos seem compresssed etc ( raw files specially ) have sent message for support no response!
sometimes crashes, and a bit slow....
using it to "simulate" the windows viewer. The idea is good, but the app is not super stable and sometimes slow. Good enough for a free app.
What good is scale-to-fill?
Tne of the rare apps that allows for scale-to-fill. Infuriatingly it doesn't allow to navigate up and down the picture. Once it's scaled no way to look at any part of the picture but the center. One has to ask: what good is it, then?
Too slow
Way too slow. Opening images takes like 5 seconds (on an Windows)
