  This is the first application that I have tried and work as intended (e.g. opens all popular video and subtitle format, allow to create and resync subtitles based on audio waveforms…). The developer’s takes on creating and editing subtitles is genius as he has been meticulously designed the experience to offer the best, most effective and user friendly experience ever. It feels like it has been developed by someone who has some been around and created subtitles for a while and wanted to create something designed to make his life easier and it is a success. This is a blast to use and allowed me to resync precisely in one shot a few subtitles in a few seconds. I don’t create subtitles from scratch but for someone who is, check out the the video on the support page to have a glimpse. True, the application is really expensive but time is money and if it allows me to save time on tasks that are not worth it. Then, it’s a good deal!

  Not "PRO"

  What make this program NOT « PRO » 1. The column CPS & CPL isn’t clear, it should state somewhere that it’s CPS / CPL. Like in subtitle edit. That will help to understand quickly which one is not good. 2. It should have : automatic return to the line, timecode In and Out in a column not with the text, a column with the duration of each subtitle, more export format (VTT at least), a « find common error », minimal duration, maximal duration, maximum number of lines, minimal gap between subtitle, 3. When you export it should take the name of the video or the file inserted. 4. The mouse scroll to go left/right in the waveform should move quicker 5. Gather all the configuration options in one window and not in three different place (Options, top right for the text, bottom of the video for the display of subtitles..) What make it good : The UI is cool, the waveform display is nice. I really hope the dev can make an update with these change.. If so, i will update my rating.

  En chinois sur systeme non anglophone

  great app, but quality loss when hardcoding

  Hi, i find the app very intuitive to use, a real pleasure. Only setback for me is the noticable quality loss when hardcoding the subtitles in the video, what other apps don’t do, such as mp4tools. If the developer found a way to do the same thing in this app, he’d get 5 stars...

  PERFECT!!

  Really powerfull and user friendly at the same time, this app is clearly the best I tried to create subtitles from a blank project as weel as to asign timecodes to existing translations. The drag tool on the audition/timeline to asign timecode and write in it is so clever that you cannot go back to any other subtitling app! In addition, you can make bilingual lines that can be automatically exported in different srt files, this is so usefull!!! For me this is definitely the best app to edit and create subtitles. And if you have questions, Alex answers quickly to you questions! And combined with the FInal SRT, this app becomes a really powerfull tool for editing projects in a foreign language in a FCP project, you won’t need to copy/paste it anymore. Also highly recommended!
