3. - Devices can only play streams if they are connected to the same local network as your Windows.
4. The connection can be wireless, using WiFi or wired, using Ethernet.
5. On iOS and iPadOS you can simply point the camera to the QR code.
6. There are freely available HLS players on every major platform.
